Hey guys.
I am in desperate need of help here, concerning a stray cat.
As my watchers know, there was recently a stray cat who had her kittens under our house. After TONS of looking, we finally found all four of the kittens loving homes.
Since we fed the stay while she was nursing, however, she has gathered that our back porch is now her new home.
My family already has two cats and one dog, and money's a little tight, so my dad is NOT happy about another mouth to feed.
And now Mama (the stray) is pregnant again.
If she has this litter around our house, my sisters, my mom and I will want to take them in and find homes for them, but my dad won't be happy. He'll be very, VERY upset.
So, I'm asking you guys, please.
If you or someone you know want a cat (a cat who is going to have kittens.) PLEASE contact me! Note me, comment on this journal, I don't care.
But Mama needs a home, and SOON.
She's a black and white tuxedo cat, very nice, but skittish, esp around people. She needs more time to become acquainted with people, petting her right now makes her scared, so you'll have to be ok with her coming to you until she gets used to you.
She is an OUTSIDE cat. She needs a big space to wander around. She's tried to come into our house before, but we don't let her.
She has NOT been fixed, and now that she's pregnant again, we cannot fix her. So any kittens would be your responsibility, should anyone take her before she has her litter.
She needs shots, and she is not potty-trained, being an outside cat, HOWEVER!
She is an excellent mouser. Since she has started to hang around our house, we have found quite a few squirrels and mice that she has lovingly killed and left for us, normally, all we find of the squirrels are a few tails scattered around the yard. She has also chased the possums out from under our house, which is nice. Now they won't attack my dad...
She seems to be ok with other cats, for a while, there was another stray, a black one, who lived with Mama on our porch, albeit on different sides of the porch.
She has been known to get into fights, but is very loyal and will return once she has had her little b**** fest.
The only time she ever has threatened to attack was when she had her previous litter, and we were trying to get said kittens and bring them in the house.

So PLEASE.
If you feel that you can handle this responsibility, please, please, PLEASE help us find Mama a home.
We live next to a major road, and fear for the safety of any future kittens.
No, we do not know her age, or how far along in her pregnancy she is. All we know is that she needs a home, and fast.

I live near Charlotte, North Carolina, in the USA. If you or someone you know lives close enough to us, and wants a cat, please note me, and I will send you my contact information.
My family is willing to drive (WITHIN REASON) to you and drop Mama off, or meet you halfway, or whatever. You can come here and pick her up. We don't really care. She just needs a good home for she and her babies.
I want you to know what you're getting into, though, should anyone want her.
This is a HUGE responsibility, esp with Mama being pregnant again.
You would have to wait until after her kittens have been born to fix her.

So please. Consider and weigh all the options, and if you or someone you know can take care of Mama, please don't hesitate to contact me. My family cannot afford to feed five people, three pets, and a stray+kittens. We have GOT to find her a home, and soon.
Please, Please help us.

Thanks for your time, and feel free to comment/note, etc. Help us find Mama a home!!

love you all,
-Moa

Did you find her a home yet? I hope you do. After she has her next litter you might want to seal up the crawl space of your house. You don't want animals under there. Have you talked to the humane society? I don't think they kill the animals like the pound does. Usually they fix the cat and put it up for adoption. They may be able to come out and get her before she has her kittens.
